Graduate Intern, Funds Operations

Internship (NYSC)

The Role

We are looking for a funds operations intern to join our Finance & Operations team in Abuja. In this role, you will be at the heart of our daily financial ecosystem—ensuring that transactions flow smoothly, reconciliations are spotless, and data tells a clear story. This is a hybrid role, offering you the flexibility of working from home and collaborating with the team in our Abuja office.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist in daily transaction monitoring, fund settlements, and reconciliations.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve payment or processing discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update operational logs and financial data trackers.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports using Excel.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Support, and Engineering) to optimise fund flows.

Who You Are

  • NYSC Status: You are currently preparing to stream into camp, actively serving in Abuja, or a very recent corper (not more than 6 months post-NYSC).
  • Location: You currently reside in Abuja and are comfortable with a hybrid work structure.
  • Number Cruncher: You have a natural affinity for data, numbers, and finance. You spot patterns and errors that others miss.
  • Excel: You don’t just “know” Excel; you are genuinely comfortable with formulas (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements), pivot tables, and data formatting.
  • Detail-Oriented: You believe a misplaced decimal point is a tragedy. Accuracy is your superpower.
  • Curious & Driven: You are a fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced fintech environment.
